How did you improve your writing skills besides reading daily

Try cursive writing. Get the kid’s handwriting books from any good stationary shop. Once you’re through with a book or two, maintain a register and write a paragraph or two daily. Choose a pen you love writing with. I personally am biased towards a black ink pilot pen.
Choose a preferred font size for yourself. While in school, used to keep my fonts really small to make use of small spaces on a book or during any note making the session. However, later I discovered, that a slightly larger font (seven to eight words in a line) made my handwriting look neater.
Repetition. The more you practise, the better you’ll get and better will be the progress of your endeavour.

IMPORTANT:

Your writing posture. The standard posture of sitting straight and writing works. It lends the necessary sturdiness and support. Try writing, when you are lying down (either on your belly or on your back); or maybe try with your head resting on the table as you write. There will be a great difference between the standard posture and the other non-standard postures. An important part of the standard posture is also the sturdiness of the writing base. Though I’ll always prioritise a table and a chair, a distant second recommendation would be a lap desk.
